Our History

Shiprock Dive started life way back in 1985, in a small shop on Port Hacking Road only a few hundred meters from the Shiprock dive site. After only a short time the shop relocated to the Lilli Pilli shopping center 1km further up Port Hacking Rd.

Shiprock Dive stayed there untill 2003, when the business was combined with Aquasea Underwater products and moved to Taren Point. In late 2006 Shiprock Dive was purchased by its current owner who operated it side by side with Aquasea at Taren Point.

In early September 2007 the decision was made that Shiprock Dive needed more space and better exposure so we moved to our current location at Miranda. In our current location, Shiprock Dive is positioned to better serve our customers - whether it be for a simple air fill, open water training or technical training, we now have the space to cater for everyone. But most importantly we have a good sized, covered outdoor area for post dive BBQ's.

In April 2009 we became the first Australian SDI/TDI 5 Star Instructor Training Center. April 2009 also saw Shiprock Dive become the first Sydney dive center to Teach Rebreather diving with the comencment of our Insperation and Evolution training.
